Everyone is Engaged!!!

Sorry it has been a while since I have had time to write. I have been really really busy lately. So it seems like every time I turn around someone else I know is getting engaged!! Then they set their wedding date before mine and J.T.'s. What to do? What to do? It does upset us because we feel that by the time our wedding gets here then everyone will be tired of going to enjoy in this happy time in someones lives!!! What do you think?

Where Do You Live?

So far I think that the thing that I hate to most is making up the wedding guest lists. I mean seriously, how many people can mine and J.T.'s family know? We have been busy working on the address for everyone all summer long and I still feel like there are a million left to get. I feel like I am on Facebook every other day asking someone what their address is!!! It is a long process that I am hoping to see the end to very soon.

THE WEDDING CAKE

So Monday night we went and picked out our wedding cake. At first I thought it was going to be a hard process but then Mrs. Judi, at Cakes by Judi, made it all seem very easy. We were only there for an hour and most of that time we were just talking about other things, not even the wedding cake. I think the best part of picking out the wedding cake is what she sent home with us. We were able to take home a little cake of each flavor we picked out, plus one flavor that J.T. really wanted to try. It was a fun process and another thing marked off my list. Now I just have to figure out what to do for the groom's cake!

The Guys

I know that the groom is suppose to pick out what his guys are wearing, but I picked it out and showed him. Of course he really liked my idea. The guys will be wearing chocolate brown suits with pool blue vest and tie. Their flowers are going to be a single tangerine/orange rose with some green accent.
